The only practice l actually enjoy visiting. Not only is Dr Belongie a top-notch Orthopedic surgeon but he a very caring human being. His office staff is the best with a shout out to Carlene. 2 years ago, I was unable to walk and Dr. Belongie replaced my hip and today, 2 years later, l'm without pain and walking normally.

I had a full knee replaced about five years ago and I have had no pain or any problems. I have been happy with my Doctor (awesome,he explained my surgery to me and what was expected afterwards.) staff is very supportive and you will love Carlene. She was there at the hospital and even held my hand until I went under . I was pleased with that surgery, Dr. Bolongie is doing my other knee. I’m almost 82, so I figure I still have some (dancing) time left .

Nice color pre-op & post-op photos given to me so I can show them to my Physical Therapist Doctor and begin PT next week. I’m very pleased with Dr. Belongie and his entire team including the out pt. My knees have been bad for a long time, but haven't interfered too much with my quality of life. After x-rays confirmed that I could certainly qualify for total knee replacements, Dr Belongie said that since my knee pain isn't yet interfering with my quality of life, postpone the surgery till I'm having more bad days than good days. I appreciate a surgeon who honestly assesses and provides options. He also told me about the age, after which knee surgery is not recommended. I can walk miles a day and I have access to a wonderful pool so in spite of bad knees, I'll save surgery for a future date. I like his forthright communication and his staff is never too busy for kindness toward patients!

I fractured my wrist ice skating in North Carolina over the holidays. The Urgent Care could only splint the wrist. Was able to get with Dr Belongie and his team as soon as we got home. On the day of my total hip replacement surgery, I was last on the hit parade. Dr. Belongie took time for a chat before the procedure. His office staff are excellent; the hospital staff at Mease Dunedin was also first rate. My phone calls to his office are always promptly returned by knowledgeable people.

Broke my arm a little over a year ago and Belongie was recommended to me by my mother. I was terrified and traumatized by the experience but Belongie and his office took care of me from start to finish. We decided not to do surgery and allow the bone to heal naturally (very scary I will say but the Best decision I’ve ever made). Had my check up today and the bone is healing wonderfully and I don’t have a massive scar!! Highly highly recommend

Nurses were great to help me when my Mom of 93 fell n broke her wrist. Dr Belongie came within 20 minutes to the hospital and assured us that he could help. Set her wrist and in office has provided excellent care. He is quite the character. Kept my Mom laughing and feeling she had the best Dr.
